Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 Ddotmbannermar2013

Welcome back- Now for a look at the parks and open spaces of Teddy City.

Often called- City of Parks- Teddy City has many parks and open spaces. Lets take alook at some- Ok so first in line- the top of the city!!!!

Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 13861650
Cityview Picnic Grounds gives a view unlike any other. The view is spectacular and the whole city can be seen through the trees on top of this lofty perch. Its like your own private wilderness!

Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 63856315
Next is Midland Park- Located near the airprt interchange is a peaceful park in the downtown sector of the city- Though small- it allows residents and viewers a place to have a picnic- can you say WOW!!!!
Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 54042537
Part of the origianl field lands of the area remains on the north edge of town- the roses and grasses are part of an amazing look when you thing to yourself how all you see is 2 cities from this vantage point. You'll see the second city at some point.
Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 40694612
And finally- Docklands Park. Some noticed this small grassy area in the last update- so here I take a cloer look. From here people can watch as ships come in and wonder- "Where are they going so soon?". I don't know- but open waters are 50 miles away.

Hope you enjoyed this look at the city.

This short CJ update will show just 2 neighborhoods.

Here we will see Mayors Park and London meadows

First is Mayors Park:

The newest neighborhood Mayors Park is a beautifully designed area with the names of mayors for streets- The current mayor- Jim Denicavan even got his own street- He knew nothing about it and received it as a birthday present in 2012. He was humbled to the point of tears when he received the replica street sign and even cut the ribbon to his street-

Next is London Meadows-

Designed as the village of London in 1878. It was a farming town and the cute and quaint farm homes dot the neighborhood-
Nearby- industry supplies the jobs to the people of the neighborhood and 2 highways make up the southern and eastern boundaries. Many trees give the neighborhood an identity of its own- Today the neighborhood is a popular area an homes sell quick.

Well there's a short update for you- hope you enjoyed.

Nice quaint little suburbs. Love the use of diagonals, and especially how sparse they are; not too compact.

Hello again- well I gave a hint- Now for the reveal- The city of Rosedale- Teddy City's Northern Suburb. This old industrial town has taken a turn to the modern side- some taller buildings have shown up and home prices have as well. While the city was once rundown it has turned into a major part of the areas culture. Old is mixed in with the new and the highways are expanding.
Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 66685718
The highway will soon have an exit ramp at this southern most industrial center. Homes line the highway wall and rail takes people from teddy City to work in the industry. As The city grows there is more demand to fill- and it is in the works.
Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 67851930
Home Depot will open soon- A sign of the expansion the city has taken. Kennerley Parkway begins here at the round about on its way south to Teddy City.
Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 33379101
Gateway to downtown- Keller Road.
Teddy City- A national Capital - Page 2 98233716
And downtown as it looks today with its center City Hall in a round About. As the city grew- the need for a new City Hall became apparent. Enter the firm of Grange and Moore ho designed the City Hall of the future and its centerpiece park and round about.

Well there's a look at Teddy City's neighbor. Hope you enjoyed.
