Smithport is an independent city in the country of Diemland, and the province of the same name. It is the capital of Diemland and follows Midwestern US zoning and buildings. It was established in 1952 and became the nation's capital in 1955, as part of the Governing Act of 1954. These pictures show the history of Smithport.

The Smithport Canal is a experimental canal created by Diemland's Growth Department, to get the country's GDP up. It takes rain water and filters it into the city's water supply.
