Hi everyone,

It's time for me to create a new DD, this time it's CXL 2011.

So.. let's get this started!

Update 1 - Introduction

City name; Lorville
Population: 90,000 (as of 12/01/2011 in Britain, or 01/12/2011 in other places)















That concludes the introduction, next update will be about the Residential areas!

I seriously wish I got CXL2011, it looks nicer. But that looks very nice :-)

Today's Update features the transportation of Lorville


There are several bridges over the highway, and this is the oldest.


The view from the highway looking towards the T-Interchange. Towards the right of the picture we see the Hill Statue, built in 1725 by Sir Joshua Hill.


We will look at the airport.


Night time at the terminal.


The Airport Highway junction.


One of the large tunnels through the Lorville Mountains.


The Mountain Highway.


A small mountain road that runs parallel to the highway. Before the highway was built, this was full of traffic out of the city.


Sunrise at the seaport.

Today's update is the first with the graphics settings on High. I hope the change improves the pictures.


Lorville never sleeps. In the day, the streets are packed with people and cars, and expansion occurs daily.


Shops are major businesses in the city.


Blocks of flats appear in the newer areas to provide lots of housing.


Lots of people live in the newly built 'super' housing estates away from the bustling high rise areas.


The highways are always very busy.


There are houses out of the way of the havoc filled city streets...


... and the stadium attracts even more visitors to the city.


Aeroplanes are a common sight in the airspace above the city.


Grassy areas are preserved to give people a breath of fresh air.


Meanwhile, queues are forming on the streets at rush hour..


Even the 'quiet' backstreets are very noisy..


Large bridges dominate the suburban skyline..


Small shops open in the outer areas.


Trees.. and chimneys.


Not everything's so chaotic...

being unfamilar with CXL, did the stadium come with it?

@ Guitarmansuperstar: Yes, it did I'm not sure if it comes with any earlier versions, but I have 2011.
