It is on google by searching Simmania.darkbb.com, and it has been submitted to Yahoo and Bing but I think I'll have to resubmit it because I don't think they added it.

I boldened what I am getting at here.

We don't have an area for downloads! However if you create a website at Sites.google.com, they let you make a file cabinet, thus community members can upload objects, considering you can set it where anyone can upload files.

Well when I added that I put in the text while I figured out how to add one. That project has since been on hold.

I want an exchange though...

Actually, you would have to put a link on the Navbar, and hide it from guests.

I figured out that it would have to take a lot of templates editing, but, we can make another Forumotion forum, and allow attachments (they allow .zip files), and then do it there, or create a seperate section here. However it would be best to make multi forums in one if we are to host it at this adress and not create a seperate forum. (@mayorm: A tutorial on how to do that is at Forumotion's Support forum)

That knocked the daylights out of sites.Google.com in my opinion. However Mayorm would have to learn a ton about coding, because he would have to go in and redo all the Templates, which he would have to learn every aspect of HTML code to do that.

Or an alternative to loading that onto the brain is to get an HTML editor, type what you want, switch to source, copy and paste it, there ya go.

Unfortunately that wouldn't be good because I found out Forumotion (SAME as Darkbb) only allows 20 MB of additional storage for attachments, which Mayorm would have to shift it all towards attachments and put nothing to the gallery. So if we wanted a file exchange with 20 GB of stuff Mayorm would have to put up Moolah to get it..

Actually, me and Mayorm are currently experimenting with file exchange options. We have ideas. So far, it doesn't look like a simple task, and I can't guarantee that we will get a file exchange here.

We need a current events thread.

As of writing this post, the general discussion board (equivalent to Simtropolis's off-topic category) hasn't even reached the second page. (I'm talking about the board itself, not individual threads.)

yeah ok, I think we can allow room for Current Events board either blakesterville or myself will set that up.

Another thing we need are ranks, like at ST, such as City Slicker, Town Planner, etc...

Except don't copy them word for word. And I can assure you this is possible.

We had those for a period of time back when not to many members were here. But for some reason I didn't like them but maybe we can try them out again. I'll find some time to add them.

I find that the only way to do a decent file exchange is to pay for server space and download a web kit or whatever they are called, upload it, and then set it up.

I found one that would host your exchange that sounded good, but you only got 14 days free.
