I have one small suggestion, what about a writing sub forum in the general discussion thread, that was some user, such as my self could post are work in a thread to get reviews on?

I think you could put your writings in your own thread there I'm not sure we need a whole other forum for it though, do you?

Well the way I was thinking was for example, have a sub forum for creative things such as art and writing, and since I'm sure I'm not the only one, we can each make a single thread in the sub forum that way it wouldn't clutter up the general discussion or where ever would be the proper place

I think it sounds like a good idea, we can always create the sub forum, and if it turns out Rocky is the person who uses it, we can just go back to only the General Discussion, and Rocky can post there

Well, I mean, I was just throwing the idea of a sub forum in case of the situation where I am not the only one who uses it that way it wouldn't fill up the general discussion board ya know?

I don't know if you've done this yet or not for v3, but it'd be nice to have the reputation system, like what frex's and link's sites have. It does come with FM, you just have to enable it.

I think we'll be seeing something down that line in 3.0

I was not sure if this was gonna be implemented in 3.0, or if forum motion allows it, but this is something that always has me confused.

It's plausible, just requires some crafty code. You'd have to hide those 2 menu options, then create 2 new ones. At least that's why I did.

I don't remember if it was Blake or Matt who wanted that to say "community" (I didn't quite agree either) but there will be a "home" and "forums" in 3.0, the former being the portal, so it should make much more sense

A rather small suggestion here... there's a few misspellings in forum headings, descriptions, etc. Maybe those could be fixed? It's not too important, but if it can be done quickly and easily, it'll improve the site.

As far as "community," don't blame Matt for that one. It was my idea. I was trying to come up with something other than the old "Simmania news," but I'm assuming it wasn't the best change. Anyway, that will be fixed in SM3, as K50 said. We won't have it for much longer.

As far as misspellings in the board headers, I'll run through a check and try to update some of that. There's a lot to run through, but hopefully we can get that fixed.

I always thought we should switch those around. But figured as long as everyone knew where they were going we were fine.

I can help go through some of the spelling issues as well. Sometimes I tend to rush the description part.
