Believe it or not, DC got exactly half of the nominations. The other nominations were spread between other users.
In case you are wondering how I know this stuff, I lead the SSS and the SSS account. I've decided to make that knowledge public for those of you who don't know.

I originally intended to end the October 2010 MOTM nominations tomorrow, but I decided to give a little more time and I set it back to the 29th.

Why the delay? I've had a habit of setting the nominations to close really early, and releasing the results that day. I don't feel that it makes any sense because it simply has put nominations on hold for several days in the past. Back when the MOTMs were started, I expected it to take a while to release the results. It took a while for the first month, but since then, it has been a fast process.

I have received one nomination for this month's MOTM, but last month, we had six by the end of it. (with, if I remember correctly, four members sending nominations) I would like to see if we can break the record again. To break the record, we would need seven nominations. Wouldn't it be nice to have another record?

Remember, multiple nominations are allowed.

Sorry about double posting here, but I felt the need to put this out there... The SSS, for the first time in a while, is needing to do processing on the MOTM nominations. I think we should be able to release the MOTM results in a few days.
