I hate Windows 7. with SC4 open ALONE, plus the services memory leak, my memory usage gets over 4 GB, making using the computer unbearable, among other breaches in the dang thing.

I haven't tried it on Vista. I think the performance is nearly entirely based on your computer specs.

well, on my 32-bit vista it never ran stabile, crashed sometimes. on my 64bit win7 not.

Portland's isn't that special IMHO It gets the job done for most but the nearest station for me is like 8 miles and 3 bus transfers away
