Tensions Rise in Adatan Politics -14/11/2012
The president is further alienating the public by making increasing problematic decisions. Their have been protests at his leadership, and calls for him to step down. Many Provincial Governments have withdrawn support for the government, including Flevoland and New Holland. When all provinces have withdrawn support the incumbent president will be removed and replaced with a commissioner. Adatan is currently held together by tense relations. There are real fears that New Holland, the powerhouse province could try to succeed from the union. If this happens the rest of the provinces will have no choice but to leave the crumbling union or go down with it. With elections just around the corner the situation is not as dire as it seems, However if the crisis escalate any further there will be major problems down the track for the Republic.



Dean Clark "Must go!"-7/11/2012
Incumbent President Dean Clark has faced criticism over his view on Abortion and Civil rights in Adatan. People have expressed concern over him and his National Christian Party's (NCA) leadership over controversial issues. The Federal Elections to be held in December will tell if Dean Clark will earn a third term in office but it looks unlikely that the NCA will make up a sizeable part of the Parliament after the election. Having Campaigned on Alcohol and Education Reforms for his two terms respectively it looks unlikely that he will a have a foundation for the 2012 campaign.

Last night something happened in the Shadows of Bakan


That went Terribly wrong...



The President of Adatan stepped out of Parliament, after working late he expected the Plaza to be Empty. However the Plaza was scattered with people wanting to talk with the President. He sighed and with a smile on his face stepped forward to greet the crowds. Then he realised that they wanted to talk about his controversial politics. The protesters shouted their words at The President, then as the President attempted to leave...



and The President dropped to the Ground. Dead. His aides rushed to him but it was too late. The protesters fled the area. Then...



to try and find their President's Killer.





The Nation reels at the Assassination of their leader and looks to find answers. But some groups have different ideas about avenging the Presidents Death...

The First Skirmishes occurred in Flevoland City after a small Bomb went off. ANF troops then stormed the streets taking control. Army forces then tried to retake the city but current efforts have failed...

The New Holland Union was formed the same time Civil War was announced it has closed its borders and formed a defensive Line on its borders. It has announced that it will take over the Republic of Adatan's Foreign Affairs.

Hello everybody. Due to having a lack of time and motivation to update, then due to technical difficulties, I haven't updated my City Journal in awhile. I've made some changes to Adatan and will present these in the New Year. This means I won't be continuing the story so disregard whats been before. But for now enjoy this Christmas update!
