Dragon Islands bids for the world cup, of course... Now that there is a raised interrest in this sport new small teams are founded and the national team gets new players.

Wacky, Team Aoyama wishes to bid in the World Cup too. The coming cold winter's really getting our country fired up to compete!

Due to AIN Games confliction with Linktoria and Shushtrepistaz, the World Cup has been moved to November 24th. This shall give people who want to bid or sign up more time! Get ready for the World Cup on November 24th. Then we get ready for 2011 starting with the 2011 AIN Baseball Classic and the 2011 SIBF World Classic!

Alright! Here's our stadium, home to our national baseball team, Team Aoyama!

It's a 100,000 seat stadium situated southwest of Sakura City held on top of a man-made island. Currently it holds the city's Aoyama League team, the Sakura Foxes, but it also serves as the flagship stadium for the Aoyaman Kingdom and is thus the only stadium to date to hold international baseball events. Since Aoyama competes frequently with Japan, baseball is a big sport in the country (yet not as big as football )

The stadium's due for demolition sometime soon. With 200,000 spectators in the city, that stadium ain't holding everyone.

BTW, Aoyaman sports network Channel SuperSports is setting up broadcasting rights to view the games. Right now, them Aoyamans want a real tall order, Hi-Def, Surround sound, and 3D!!!

Football configurated? I thought it was baseball....

and also I don't think you can post in red if you aren't a moderator...

I mean by you can use football stadiums for baseball, its still baseball, look at Stone Republics stadium.

Alright! Above are the planned baseball fields whom will give playtime to the SBWC. As of now, I've only designed four out of eight stadiums. The rest, are either still in designing or those cities just don't yet exist (I haven't gone far in the CJ to build these cities yet). Then again, requirements are at least three so we should still be in the clear.

Keep in mind, the Aoyaman mainland is a winter nightmare. Snow will fall on every inch of the country by December and it will stay like that well after March. Nearly every occasion, Aoyaman sports officials never cancel games, even during snow wipeouts.
So remember, This Season Will Be Hard!!!

Sakura Asukyo will be renamed as the Sakura Sekai Stadium in commemoration of hosting this event. In addition, Sakura Stadium will be renovated. The last picture is obsolete. It will still stay on an island, but I plan to add a larger stadium and add floral and modern amenities to make it look more appealing.

@Wacky: when will the final game start? Just to let everyone know, Sakura Sekai will be reserved for the final SBWC playoff. I would like a definite deadline for when to unveil the final stadium. Also, as I'm bidding, how do you want me to host the games?
