Make sure you fully read this post before entering the competition.
Information:
How to play:
A competition has 10 rounds, which determine the winner of the competition. The person who wins the most rounds wins the competition. If it's tied, a tiebreaker will be held.
Guidelines: Important changes have been made. Please re-read these guidelines.
Each round can have two pictures competing (one picture a person). This means that only two people can be competing at once. A round ends when 3 days have passed or one picture has 6 or more votes. To submit a vote, post the name of the person you're voting for. After one (or both) of the criteria are met for ending a round then anyone can end the round and start a new one. Do not vote if you're competing. Remember not to submit the same picture twice.
Do not compete more than 5 rounds during a single competition.
To submit a picture:
Please post YOUR OWN picture here. But for the love of god do not post it as an image. Post it as a link or spoiler to avoid confusion. If two pictures have already been submitted, please wait until the next round or until there's a free "slot" available. Your picture will not be accepted if these rules are broken.
To start a new round:
State the winner of the previous round, and post the two pictures and who they belong to. If you want to, go ahead and specify who you're voting for and submit a picture.
How do I get into the Hall of Fame?
Pictures that have won four or more rounds in a row (half of a competition) will be entered.
What happens if I win the competition?
The winner will be added to the competition winners section below.
Are there any content rules?
If it pertains to SC4, it's allowed. If anyone wants a CXL competition then I (or they) can start it.
Why is there a limit to how many times I can compete?
The competition limit is put in place in order to give other people a fair chance to compete during the competition. If you exceed the limit, your pictures will not be accepted for the rest of the round. Recurring offenses can result in being temporarily removed from the competition.
Recommendations:
These points are simply recommendations to improve your picture and aren't required
----
Remember that it's not a "best photoshopper" competition. Using effects can make the picture look and feel better, but too many can obscure the actual city beneath it.
For the sake of the pages loading faster, try to downsize large pictures that would go off the side of the page. Mosaics are allowed but not recommended.
