Hey guys I'm back w/an update for you all... first I'd like to proudly announce that the Meisterville area has its own theme park, with a water park area too
So let's show you guys the theme park and some rides there. I wanna also see if you guys could think of a possible name for this... since I'm not real creative today
This is the area known as Coaster Alley, since most of the park's roller coasters are in this area.
Already this is my favorite non-coaster ride... in this game and in real life
This is the area just outside of the theme park, a town that is called Lawton. It's a fairly small town, although it's becoming more suburban w/the newer bypass and now this amusement park that's been built in the last 10 years. Not to get off subject too much, but Meisterville's outer reaching suburbs are now about out to this area which is about 45 mins to downtown Meisterville {new project going on
} Sorry about the mayor menu completely forgot
This is the SIH 104 and Lawton Ave interchange. Notice how the intersection was built, one offramp is right next to the bridge the other veers a little more. There was some money involved in tht as the theme park developers wanted to maximize their land as much as possible when the freeway was being built. FYI the theme park actually owned the land first, but the Department of Roads (DOR) ended up having to take some of it to build the interchange. Ultimately the bypass was built like all the other SIH's are. They're able to be upgraded to an 8 lane highway (RHW 8C) w/out any more land needing to be chewed up. IMO it's pretty smart thinking by the DOR (me
)
Now on to some broad aerial maps to show my region's huge growth. If you noticed my area has grown about 100K more since last time I posted a map... and also some terraforming was done in this next photo. This area from about SE Meisterville area towards around the Mans Bay, and Naples areas, are being designated as a high tech corridor for the metro. With that designation nothing can be built w/out permission from the Meisterville High Tech Industrial Council. Also there are some serious hoops for non industrial entities to jump through in order to build a neighborhood or commercial complex.
Here's the Avondale area, where I wanted to show how tht SIH 111 corridor has come along. You can see that it's about finished and prolly will be 100% done in another 10 years. Usually road projects in Meisterville that aren't within a certain population area take longer to be built.
This is the the Lawton area where the amusement park is at...
Ok that's going to do it for me and this update, hope you guys liked it! I'll try to be better about answering the comments in here, since I don't really say anything back. Until next time
