Halfway into his 45 minute trip back to downtown Whitewater, clouds suddenly started building in, then as he got into the city, there was the continuous sound of thunder and the "bang bang" sound in his car as the hail came down.


Newcastle Plaza (the area around Newcastle Square) is arguably the most beautiful portion of downtown Whitewater Run. George Brown (the district manager) parked his car in a garage, got out his umbrella and ran for shelter inside Newcastle Square.

He got to the front entrance - the restaurant at the bottom floor was still open but the offices were not. To gain access he disguised himself as an office worker who had permission to be inside the upstairs offices, and the restaurant workers actually let him in.

He took the elevator up to the office which him and David Lawrence had their meeting in that morning. While going up, the elevator jolted. Then stopped.

I'm going to be taking an extended break from updating this (probably resume this summer). I'm working on something new though, so it should be worth the wait

This is a very plot-laden update. There are no pictures except the two banners and the power plant, so please read the story.




The day that many people across Whitewater dreaded. The day that the nuclear power plant would melt down. It hadn't happened yet, but it was a nightmare... a bad dream... sixth sense telled all 165,000 Whitewater residents that something bad would happen in the near future. The stage had already been set. Why couldn't they decommission it sooner?

The last failure released small amounts of radioactive material into the air about 5 kilometres or 3 miles outside of the power plant. That barely included Hollowhaven. A few residents had become sick and had already left - not only the village but the territory of Whitewater. It was established that this area was no longer habitable.

The regional council established an exclusion zone for this area. All roads within it were barricaded. It would be another month until results for the actual cause and the extent of damage to the plant would come back. Then it could be decommissioned. But why not now? Why does it need to remain in operation?

Something wasn't right about their decision to keep the plant in operation even after a meltdown - albeit minor.
