Omaha Metro area and Suburbs

Post by brenn22 on 4/17/2010, 10:54 pm

Hi guys this DD Wink (Developer Diary) is going to be started in a few weeks or month from now... but I'm going to start a new thread for it now.

Bateman's Bay is going to consist of wide reaching praries and hilly terrain, similar to the Great Plains. More specifically Im basing it off of my homestate of Nebraska. It is going to have some urban areas that will be loosely based off of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area of Eastern Nebraska, and some of the Lincoln areas. It will also feature typical farming areas to that of Nebraska, yes corn too lol! . Im also going to have an Interstate system that will be gliding through the areas, as well as a railway by UP (Union Pacific). Im going to include the University of Nebraska too, cause well I have to. Anyways that's mostly what it'll be over.

FYI this is going to be temporary until I have more time to develop the region some more

A couple of pics to wet the appetite...

I hope you enjoyed the small teaser...
Very Happy

the FARR looks really nice! Although that avenue should probably go (unless you are developing it, in which case, it should certainly stay) Smile

Milton area

Post by brenn22 on 8/4/2010, 3:21 am

Today I'm going to show you the area of Milton. Milton is a small town, based on the industry of farming for the most part. It's situated north of the town of Bertano which I'll show next update. Milton is for the most part a fairly secluded area, except for the fact that I-11 (interstate) goes through the Western part of the town. This is very vital for the area as truckers haul freight and goods from the area to the bigger town of Bertano for their commercial shopping areas. So let me show some pics of the area...

That's all for now, I'm going to update more information on this town as well as Bertano in the next few updates
