It is with great sadness to announce the moving on of our very finest, mayorm, webmaster and site founder.

I'm not going to build this up because you all know him so well, but he turned his dream of establishing a city-building community into one we all know and love so much. Unfortunately he won't be seeing the release of Simmania 3.0 (I've been very busy myself and I'll take the blame for that, my apologies to you mayorm) but I know he is proud of how far we have come.

He posted this earlier this afternoon in the staff board, but I think you all need to see this, and I've took it upon myself to post his official resignation below.

Matt, you will be missed greatly by myself and all of us !
We go back as friends a long ways. We went through
all the good times and issues when we met at the help desk.

However, as we discussed in chat last night , I do hope
you will occasionally pop into chat just to say "hello",
and let us know how things are going and what you are up to
in your life.

Meanwhile I know k50 and Blake will do a great job running the
site in your absence !!

Thanks for all the hard work you put in in making this the best sc4
fan site on the web. And also for the great times and memories we
shared together.

Matt, it's very sad to see you go, and I'm sure it came as a shock to most, if not every member here.

I wish you the best of luck with the future and huge congratulations for making Simmania what it is today. It'll be well looked after, no need to worry about that, we have a great pair of admins in K50 and Blake.

Despite being one of the newer regulars, it will be off without you mayorm. But best of luck, and I'm sure we all hope to see you once in a while even if it's just a simple 'hello'. Smile

Matt, this came as a major shock when I learned of this, it is very sad to see you go, you have been a great site admin, a great city builder and a good friend, its sad to see you leave, but I wish you the best of luck in life and hope to see you around again some time.

I think Matt will return from time to time still.
You may have to be in chat those days of course

This is very sad news, I know Sim Mania has been your baby for a long time and it's always sad when a truly great contributor to the Simcity community moves on to pastures new.

This comes a bit late on my part (i've been too busy to post in the forums and i apologize for that) but I want to personally thank you for all the work you've put into making this the best sc4 site over the entire course of it's 3 year life. We certainly hope to see you around again, even if it's just a simple hello as the others have said.

Mayorm, I thank you for a great community taht has allowed my to build upon my SC4 skills, but has also gave me skills I can carry to other hobbies.

I can go on an on, but thanks for starting a great community full of great friends.

Hello everyone

I popped in for a bit to set some account settings so that I stop receiving the emails. I wanted to thank you all for you heartfelt goodbyes, and tell you that I'm enjoying life outside of the SC4 community. Playing sports, working, dating my new beautiful girl friend Smile

I see that K50 and Blake haven't let the site fall to pieces Razz

So thats what I'm doing, hopefully next time I log in to say hi or just because I'm curious to see how you are doing here, I see you.

Mostly though I am happy you are enjoying your life
