Also, I'm pleased to announce that at the beginning of each season (with the exception of Winter), we will be announcing special awards to recognize members for their overall efforts over the the last three months. I was originally going to start these for Spring 2013, but I think we have enough steam running to have one early. Unlike MOTM awards, we will not be having nominations specifically for these awards. Instead, we will look at nominations over the last three months for MOTMs, as well as the overall contributions of members, to determine the results of these awards. The reasons you give with your MOTM nominations will make a big difference when it comes to these awards!

Boy- a seasonal award and I actually get in!!!!! Thanks to all who voted for me- what an honor- also congrats to fellow members of the tewam Josh and Clayton on there wins as well.

You should clarify American Thanksgiving. I have Thanksgiving this weekend.

I was going to do November, but I feel like it's probably better just to let Simmania have a month off from awards before SMPCA's. I think it will make them more special if they aren't competing with MOTM awards. Giving MOTMs a break also makes them more special when they come back for late winter/early Spring. (Simmania is small enough for MOTMs to get boring after a while anyway. ) I can still run them through November if you want.

Ok... How do I keep getting nominated when I don't do a thing on this site anymore? haha

I don't understand why we need to stop the MOTMs in november, since the SMPCAs start after thanksgiving which is toward the end of the month.
Taking off December is understandable though.

Well I think it's better to go into people's Choice awards with the break, but if you guys want me to run them, I can.
