I discovered the Stronghold games a long time ago, intially I had bought Tropico 2 at EB Games, but decided to bring it back and traded it for Stronghold Crusader. That began my love for this series and I have every edition of the series, except for Stronghold Kingdoms and (sadly) the original Stronghold. Anyway I decided to create this thread to discuss the series.

Mainly I play Stronghold 2 online, or I skirmish against the AI opponents in Stronghold Crusader. Sometimes I do play the AI opponents in Stronghold Legends, but my castle is usually brought down after one of my opponents builds a dragon. Other than that my most challenging opponents are online.

Unfortuanately I am unimpressedwith Stronghold 3, I strongly believe that it sucks, just because of its lack of the skirmish ability for when I don't feel like playing online, and the online engine is very annoying.

It is a very good series, but, do you remember that epic king battle we had long ago? Twas epic indeed.
