I'm thinking that this is a fun idea but, not too many people have deviated from the Maxis plants, I know i havent... (at first when I played SC4 I thought that I need 1 of every type of Power Plant I was an idiot)

I also use Maxis power plants. I just get annoyed about having to build twelve of them in one city. I wish they generated more electricity so that I could get by with a couple.

As a side note, ever noticed how you can zone a ton of landfills and build a ton of power plants in the middle of a farming community, and the residential and commercial areas might abandon, but the farmland stays? I can't complain about that.

blakesterville try building a hydrogen plant it generates like 50,000, also build a few waste to energy plants as they cut down on the size of your dump and produce energy

And... spend $10,000+ a month? Well, I tried that in New Modernoville, but as far as I know, I haven't tried it in any other city because of the concerns about the budget.

The money tree is what I did before I used the cheat dll

The cheat DLL is still simpler. In some of my cities, I've moolahed myself trillions of dollars, and then let the budget go loose. It's a neat way to get something done fast in the game.

Of course, it's also cheating... I've never done it on any of the cities mentioned in my New Modernoville CJ. (As far as I know, that is. )
