The topic's title explains itself.

I like rock music, heavy metal, progressive rock, and Church music (I used to play in a Church band. ) I have almost 450 songs on my phone, so I'm kind of a music freak. I would probably be able to fit more if I didn't insist on 192 KBPS, but considering I'm a musician, the quality of the encoding matters to me more than being able to fit 30% more on my phone.

My primary musical style is easily progressive rock, though.

The only music I am into really is the SC4 music, except for the monotonus stuff. I also like the music from SimMars BETA 2.

SC4 Music is made by maxis... maxis made The Sims music.... which is pretty crappy music IMVHO.

My favorite is the modern music (a little of it not too much) and classic rock. Amen.

I love to play rock music myself. I think I'm a little too ambitious trying to play Rush's music (ehh... don't try unless you really wanna put in the effort), but I love playing super hard stuff.

Some think I spend too much time listening to and playing music. I used to play guitar like four hours a day or more. I've slowed down a lot.

To be honest, I like rock that isn't heavy metal. But some of the SC4 music I find to be garbage, and I am about ready to take them off of my playlist under options.

[Edit] Speaking of which, I set up a Windows media player library and added some of the music to it to save me time from having to rummage inside my documents.

But if you were to ask me what my favorite music is, it would be instrumental.

I enjoy intstumental music, but I find most of it way too hard to play. For instrumental songs, musicians often make up for the lack of lyrics with crazier instrumental lines. Crazy guitar lines are definitely my cup of tea, but my hands have begun to cramp really easily now because I've been doing too much of that stuff.

My favorite song is Candy Hearts Moon Kid. It is an instrumental. I ran across it when installing the SimMars Beta 2 Soundtrack. Now I have a Windows Media Player playlist full of Instrumental stuff.

I put all of my music on my phone.

I'm really into Rush for some reason. Most of my music is from them.

There was this one song from the GT4 soundtrack I simply loved. However it spanned about 6 minute long. It wasn't that piece of trash that started out as opera and then all the sudden turned to rock... I nmay be able to find the playlist online for free, or at least the names of the music...

I don't mean to revive this thread and start a debate, but I HAVE to say, that I've taken a big interest in pop punk/pop rock and other similar genres, as you can tell from the "What are you listening to" thread
