Sometimes I don't know how I can live without tearing my hair out.

&^$^%(*^*&^&$&^%

I'm homeschooled at the current time, and I use this (rather lousy) curriculum. So next, In the first semester of this new year (it has allready come and gone for me) I had to write a book report based off of a book with 150 words. Well, I found out that you can write one off of a book with 300 words and it can count for 2 reports. Didn't find this out until it is overwith, that that only counts of there are two book reports in the semester.

Next, today I find that my pesky pesky pesky &*$^EY^_)&*%UYT%^&% annoying brother couldn't get off of my back, threatening to beat me, or punch my face, or whatever he was saying cuz I wouldn't let him in my room to pesk me some more. Found out, he simply wanted to pet the dog, once I got him to shut up about it.

Next thing that happens is related to my operating system. Never again will I install a product that requires the NET Framework of version.

First thing that happens is I uninstall all applications that require Net framework from Microsoft. Well, I thought, I don't need it, I'll dump NET Framework as well. Come to figure out the thing was being a stuck up jerk and,

Deleted the MSI Service (Windows Installer) Which is used to Install most software!!!!! \

That one was easily fixed by downloading the MSI Service from the Microsoft site for free, and stating up the service again. Smile

And due to that unnecessary frustration I'm not ever downloading any Microsoft products anymore, except for updates, whether it be drivers, dependencies, latest versions, the only thing I'm keeping is the operating system.

The uninstaller for NET Framework can be a stuck-up jerk when you try to remove it, another lock-in from the folks down at Microshaft. I was about ready to call it quits with the MS junk there.

A report based on a book of 150 words?

I would find that hard simply because I would be embarrassed to look around for 150 word books. I've written a lot of 6,000-word-range essays.

I'm not a really a huge reader. I get bored at most books. That's just because I have a hard time paying attention and would rather take a walk, play guitar, or something like that.

I still think it's weird that many first-graders don't know how to read. I've known how to read since pre-school. I guess that I shouldn't be so judgmental, however.

Well, I've got a huge science project, I think I have to do a report based on some 4-digit number. Razz

And I'm not big on reading either. The last book I read was the only one that I actually really really liked.

The largest book that I ever read was about 1,700 pages. It was the Bible, though. Most translations don't spread over 1,700 pages, however. I've read large C/C++ references and stuff like that in the past, but other than that, I haven't really gone beyond about 300 pages.

A report on a four-digit number? What does it expect you to write about?

I once was supposed to write a report on the existence of bigfoot. Neutral That would have probably been easy, but I was suppose to ask ten people about whether they believed in bigfoot. My first idea was to turn to a bunch of six-year-olds, but then I started thinking about where to find them so that I could ask, and I only knew the addresses of a few of them -- definitely not ten. I didn't want to humiliate myself asking older people who would have enough sense to think I was crazy.

Luckily, I didn't actually have to do the report. Very Happy It got "canceled" so to speak.

The biggest book I've read is Huckleberry Finn. However the Bible, well it can vary in page size depending on how little or large the print is, which in most cases it is small.

A lot Razz Plants Plants Plants Plants Plants . If not 1,000 it high hundreds.

I'm very much like that also. Wink

Yeah, I wish this science project would get cancelled. As well as my oral book report. I have to recite an oral book report in front of my mom and bro (I'm homeschooled) and it is very embarassing. jocolor

I've had to recite stuff before too. It sucks.

And all of these projects and experiments? I hate them, because they are trying to get you to test an acid to see if it is an acid. Ehh... I think that I know that blue litmus paper will turn red in an acid. I don't need an experiment to hammer that into my head.

Reminds me of one of my experiments.

I was like 8 or 9, science book said to dig a hole, put a cup in it, put cheese in the cup. "It will draw in tons of various insects."

Next thing you know what seemed like millions of ants were all over the place. Next thing I was expecting was a roach. Razz
