Thank you for viewing New Chandler's presentation of the bid of the XX ISC Session.
We have great reason on why you should pick New Chandler. We have a reliable and professional history of Simlympic material, including hosting the latest summer games in New Chandler City, an ISC session in Roseburgh, as well as two torch relay legs and multiple qualification tournaments. We are by far the most experienced proven force out of the bidders we go against.
This bid takes place in Rockaway, who hosted the latest SIBL World Cup a year ago. It's across the country from Roseburgh and about 1,200 miles (1,930 km) south of New Chandler City, which is a good halfway point between the two.
The below picture presents the
Rockaway Convention Center which is where the ISC Session will be held and where the winner will be announced. Located on the Paseo Grande, it's a prominent feature on the edge of Downtown. The building itself is relatively new, replacing an older and more run-down one.
Below are the
Azeei Suites at the Coast, where the delegates will be lodged. It's across the street from the ocean. These suites are some of the luxurious in the country.
And now, we have a few prominent landmarks. We'll start with the religious ones, such as the
Rockaway Mormon Temple. A minority religion, this is one of the only LDS landmarks in New Chandler. It's also the largest and stands high above the taboo public housing nearby, an area usually miles away, physically and socially, to Mormon churches.
Another religions landmark is one within walking distance of the Convention Center and one of the most famous structures in New Chandler, simply known now affectionately as the
Old Mosque. The mosque is as palatial and massive as it was when it was built 800 years ago. Most of the city built around this structure. Careful though, on Fridays, it can make the already horrendous traffic mess nearby all the worse.
Downtown Rockaway is the social and financial focal point of the city, along with the coast. Tower after gleaming tower light up the roads below. In this picture you can see the contrast between the old residential complexes and the skyscrapers, with a railroad and historic cathedral all in the middle of it.
The
Huesal Insurance Stadium at Y.T. Grant Field is the home of the Rockaway Thunderbirds of the SBL and the New Chandler National Team of the SIBF during their major games. It's towards the edge of Downtown about ten blocks from the Convention Center.
A prestigious university and law school, the
University of Rockaway is strategically located between the ocean and downtown, right on the railroad. The easy access to either of these major social attractions can easily be educating over 20,000 students at any given time.
The
River Theed splits the town down the middle. Well-maintained greenbelt lines it while it goes near the downtown.
That's all for this bid..... stay tuned for an update in Rockaway, it may be the ISC session if we win it, or it may be a simple glimpse of the city otherwise.
