Welcome, sir, to our glorious nation of Scotland! Well, to be precise, the Kingdom of Scotland which is now a harsh reminicent of its former pre Anglo-French war days Neutral. Here I will show you a godly view of our glorious nation!
The Kingdom of Scotland - An Europa Universalis 3 AAR D5XAo
As you can see, exactly half of our nation has been taken from these corrupt Englishmen! Shall they all die in a pointless war!
Before I get ahead of myself, here is some information about our country:
The Kingdom of Scotland - An Europa Universalis 3 AAR OGrD5
As you can see, as you hopefully do, we follow the one true faith: Catholicism! We are also allied with our ulster brethren on the island of Eire, and our crouton friends on the continent.
Now you may be wondering why we invited you here. Look here:
The Kingdom of Scotland - An Europa Universalis 3 AAR BHuLj
The main two you should look at is the crown (prestige) and the coins (ducats/money). We would like to bring you along this journey of economic reconstruction, prestige regain, and even rebuilding the military! Along with the other half of our nation, we also mainly lost these three things during the war. Quite embarrassing, indeed. And, because we have no paintings left, I will write the story of the war here:
It all began in 1399. Because earlier England, with satanic intentions, seized Calais from France, France began a very justified war for the liberation of these French provinces (and also other provinces seized from France). The main part, however, is the Anglo-Scottish War. Foolishly, our current reigning monarch, Robert III had decided to invade England (for the Auld Alliance). However, it seems that plan backfired, and our entire army was eliminated. By 1401, England had seized the Western Isles, the Highlands, and Ayrshire. Desperate not to lose any more, we had made a deal with England: Half of Scotland for peace. Because they are catholic outcasts, they accepted this imperialistic deal.

Note:
I do not endorse this religion, nor do I encourage calling people what I just called England. It is pretty much a sum of what life was like back then.
