Thought I'd update this seeing as it hasn't been posted in since October. Simopsis is in the midst of massive changes. We are currently in the process of moving to a new host which is requiring us to copy user accounts and posts manually. Needless to say that isn't the most fun thing ever.

At the same time I am pleased to announced that cheesesc4 is now part of Simopsis and will be merging into the new version of Simopsis! Since we're both ditching SMFNEW we feel it would be a good idea to create one new, larger site and pool our resources. Because of the massive changes going on an information website about the move and merger was launched:

Me and link are proud to announce that The New Simopsis is completed! cheeseSC4 has merged with the new site as well. All your posts and accounts came with us, all you need to do is log in with your new password which was sent to you (check your emails!)

What if it was by a different name?

It was done based on email addresses. Since you probably used the same email address for both sites your account was merged as one.
You are listed as being Republicmaster on the new site. You should have been sent an email with a password. If that doesn't work you can use the password reset link or post in the guest activation area on Simopsis.

I'm happy to announce the effective today, Simopsis is now SIMOPSIS.COM!
We have our own domain now. Some more improvements are also in the works. Stay tuned!
