SBWC Schedule 2010 Sbwcbidlogo
To the grand SBWC Council I present the bid of Davis Park and the Republic of Central Texas, to host the 2010 SBWC World Cup.

For the most beloved world cup, Davis Park, our main city and only stadia bearing city, has six stadia to offer for games:

(Main Stadium) Airport Centre: Typically a futbol/football/soccer stadium, has the ability to be configured into a baseball design similar to that of the now fallen polo grounds in new york. Has been home to most sports teams in Davis Park including franchises in former leagues such as the SCFA, SCAFL, failed SISL franchise and many more.
SBWC Schedule 2010 Airportcentrebaseballco
Capacity: 25,000

SBWC Schedule 2010 Stadianames

Tower Park: Located just off the Main Drag of Downtown, Tower Park's stands surround the field and Tower Park is our second main stadium.
Capacity: 15,000

University Park: Another non baseball stadium being converted for the World Cup, University Park is home to most outdoor College sports teams in Davis Park.
Capacity:5,000

Westbury Road: Home to Westbury F.C. of the ASAN Premier League, yet another conversion stadium, has a classic charm to it.
Capacity: 8,000

Potters Cove: Nestled below the biggest offices and hotels of Downtown Davis Park, Potters cove is our 4th conversion stadium, when not used for baseball, it is home to Cove United of the ASAN Premier League.
Capacity: 5,000

SBWC Schedule 2010 Davisparkstadiumpicpx1
Memorial Stadium: located in the Southwest district of Davis Park, Memorial Stadium is the former home of the AAA Davis Park Irish and the former SLB Davis Park Golden Conquistadors, Memorial Stadium is the second purpose built baseball stadium in Davis Park.
Capacity: 6,000

Guests and Attendees may stay at hotels all across the city, hotels range from your Super 8's and Hampton Inns upto your Doubletree's. Those who just want to be able to get to the airport fast or just come for the final match may wish to stay at the airport hotels (nearby stadia: Airport Centre, University Park, Memorial Stadium). Those who wish to see Central Texas at its finest may wish to stay downtown at our Larger hotels such as the shearton (nearby stadia: Tower Park, Potters Cove), and those who want a round of golf or a day at the amusement park might want to stay at our Hampton but hotels are more scarce East of Town. Just out of the shot to the upper right is old town, where more hotels await, these are the closest hotels there are to the Westbury Road Stadium.

While Davis Park lacks some amenities of larger cities such as Subway (not the fast food joint Wink ) or train through town, Davis Park does have an expansive Airport, Davis Park International, for our guests, and a smaller regional airport in neighboring Percy Point for our players and VIP guests and Foreign Diplomats.

As far as tourism goes, Davis Park is the Capital and largest city of Central Texas, guests can sit in on sessions of the Senate, take a tour of Castle Royal, home of the Prime Minister or see our Supreme court in session. They can also see and Pray at St. Marco's Cathedral on We have four main shopping districts, Downtown, University Plaza, Main Street and Gulf Landing. Gulf Landing is located east of town, at the bottom of the above picture, it is home to upwards of 75 stores and near the Presidents Country Club (open to the public during certain events) and Cal's Coliseum of Fun, it got its name because of the gulfstream jets which used to touch down on Davis Park International Airports first runway, Runway 27. A few years later Runway 36 was added. Downtown is the shopping are located in, well, downtown Smile, It contains shops, shopping centers, all sorts of stuff. Main Street is a very long road, sort of a throwback era, your nik-nak shops, antique shops, everything under the sun really. University Plaza is a mall, like Gulf Landing, and contains resteraunts at 3 of the 4 enterances, and a Macy's at the fourth. There are also little shops and resteraunts in the surrounding area to the Mall itself.

As far as media goes, Davis Park has two Rival Media Companies:

Thomas Entertainment Incorperated
SBWC Schedule 2010 Teilogo

And the Central Texan Broadcasting Corperation (Nationalized, basically our BBC)
SBWC Schedule 2010 Ctbclogo

They each compete with eachother for everything, TV, Print and Radio. TEI operates SportsCT, TEN Channel (News), and Living Central Texan, (TV Channels), The Davis Park Times and broadcasts 106.7 DPFM (News) and 101.9 DPCS (Country).

On the other hand the CTBC operated CTNC (News), Channel 25 (Sports) and Home Channel (Channels), The Cove and broadcasts 96.1 DPNN (News) and 103.5 TCDP (Country).

Both have signed contracts with renowned International News Agencies to broadcast their live feeds and have signed contracts with the Davis Park Sporting Commision to broadcast the games should Davis Park and our great Republic win the Bidding.

Practice Fields are not abundent but 3 extra stadia do exist in Davis Park for practices, one at the High School next to memorial Stadium, one being a Softball stadium in Southwest and another being a second softball stadium near Gulf Landing. Some parking lots for businesses are planning to close their parking lots as extra practice space as well and as somewhat of an attraction.

We thank the bidding council of the SBWC for your time and consideration of Davis Park and our fine Republic.

No, Cen Tex is cancelled, i'm not planning on bidding at all, Sophmore year doesn't look too fun Neutral affraid pale study study study study Sleep study Then the Standardized tests then affraid affraid Razz bout what my year is going to be...pardon the excessive smilies if thats spam but its very accurate... takin some tough classes including AP History which looks like its gonna be a booger so I expect to have much more time devoted to it and very little time devoted to this... And on that note when should I expect the SRWC Schedule? Its wednesday and I would like to get everything squared away ASAP on that so that if needed I can just PM to you or something ahead of time... I'm workin on the best opening ceremony MS7 Paint can do... doing something nightlighty thats kinda interesting... Smile

Edit: If I do bid however It'll be more or less last minute so I'll know whats coming and such alot better, i'd prepare it ahead of time of course but... 90% says no now...

Softball and Baseball championships are cancelled because They're only 10 teams so, sign up to host a minor around the dates, that they were in.
